Sherlock Holmes and The Hound of the Baskervilles
Anja, thanks for suggesting watching Basil Rathbone as Sherlock Holmes and Nigel Bruce as Dr Watson...As soon as I saw them on screen, I immediately recognised those familiar faces!!!
So there we are, we can watch the whole film, once we have read the novel, of course....

Inspector Rebus
From Ian Rankin's website:
'The Rebus novels have been universally praised for the strength of characterisation, particularly the figure of Rebus himself who has been described as 'the most compelling mind in modern crime fiction' (Independent) and 'a masterful creation' (Observer); and for the gritty realisation of Edinburgh, the dark heart of contemporary Scotland which lurks behind the elegant and historic buildings of the tourist trail.'

Murder on the Orient Express: OUR SCORES
Before, during and after a wonderful dinner at Raka's, we discussed our views on this most notorious whodunnit. There was so much to say and the discussion was as lively as ever :-)!
We decided to amend out categories slightly and produced five different ones which we agreed seemed
more suitable for this genre.
